Regatta Point Park

Regatta Point Park, which can also be found as Quinsigamond State Park, is one of two locations on Quinsigamond Pond, on the Worcester-Shrewsbury line. It is located on the western shore of the pond, just north of Route 9.

Location: for NEIRA, and NE Regionals, park in the UMass Medical garage on South Road. It's a short walk down to the park entrance, and there is a shuttle bus as well. Here is a map showing parking and the shuttle bus route.

The course runs 1500 meters, north to south. There's good viewing of the race start from the Quinsigamond Rowing Club, and of the finish either along the Route 9 bridge or from Regatta Point Park. Here is the NEIRA course map:
