Hard to believe we are talking about Spring, but here is the current (not final) schedule for Spring regattas in 2018:
Brookline Rowing will be accepting applications for the February break training trip to Austin, TX. Due to limited resources (time, boats, boathouse space, coaches) we are forced to limit the size of our trip for everyone’s safety.
When: February 16-23, 2018
Rowing: Austin Rowing Club
Lodging: Holiday Inn, Town Lake
Dining: UT dining hall
Chaperones: 4 coaches and 4 parents
This year we will have space for:
32 Varsity Girls
32 Varsity Boys
Acceptance will be based solely on athletes’ prior performance on the team.
Criteria considered will be:
Preparedness for practice
Applications are due Friday, December 8, 2017.
Acceptances will be sent on Monday, December 11, 2017.
YOUR DEPOSIT OF $750 MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2017.
The second payment will be due in mid-January once the final price is set.
**When filling out the form list your name as it appears on the ID you will use for the flight**
If you are 17 and under you can use your BHS ID to fly
If you are 18 you must use a government issued ID to fly

Welcome to winter Crew. Training consists of erging and cross training, with a focus on core stability; as well as strength and mobility.
Winter training begins in the BHS erg room on Monday, November 27 and lasts thru the thawing of the Charles River (start of spring season ).

Winter training consists of erging (rowing machine) and cross training, with a focus on core stability as well as strength and mobility training. Novice Crew winter training is designed to prepare athletes for the spring competitive season.
